“Christianity is a lifestyle—a way of being in the world that is simple, non-violent, shared and loving. However, we made it into an established ‘religion’ (and all that goes with that) and avoided actually changing lives. One could be warlike, greedy, racist, selfish, and vain in most of Christian history and still believe that Jesus is one’s ‘personal Lord and Savior.’ The world has no time for
such silliness anymore.
The suffering on Earth is too great.”
~Richard Rohr

at the small round table just outside Ms. Ballard's room.
Date: Sunday, November 24
Time: 2-3 PM
Enjoy Cake, punch, celebration and fellowship with Miss Alice. She cannot see well and is almost deaf, so you have to speak close to her ears for her to hear you and stand close to her so she can see you. This precious woman has NO family who lives close, so I really encourage you to be her Family of God. She has been
a long-standing member of FCC.
(She has been in Hospice care since early 2019)
Your presence is her present, so give the gift of love!! Thank you, Dawn Jester (Alice's "adopted" daughter)
