On Monday, January 18,

we will celebrate the birthday of

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King said,

“Our lives begin to end the day we become

silent about things that matter.”

May we have the courage of Dr. King as we

stand up for justice, reconciliation and truth despite challenge and controversy.

He was assassinated on April 4, 1968.

His voice lives on.

Hays County residents currently have two options to get the Covid-19 vaccine: The first is to talk with their personal medical providers and determine if they can get a vaccine at one of the companies in Hays County that already have the vaccine, including local pharmacies such as H-E-B. Another option is to pre-register to get a vaccine through the state’s

new hub system. Read the full report in the following link:

"We fail to embrace the future because of fear and a lack of imagination."

Rev. Teresa "Terri" Hord Owens, General Minister and President, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada invites us to imagine with her the great opportunity we have for the future as churches in covenant with each other.

Camp Gonzo Weekend!

5 young adults from FCC attended an amazing weekend at Gonzo talking about plugging into the P.O.W.E.R. of the Holy Spirit through Prayer, Others, the Word, Equipping, & Responding.

We were reminded to check our connection with God. The charger might be plugged into us, but is the other end actually

plugged into the right power source?

It was a weekend filled with fun, fellowship, service & plugging into the Word. All were refreshed and refocused!

For all of those in our community

who are in great need and are being impacted in

ways we can't comprehend by this pandemic.

Also for these with special health needs
