Your Wedding, Your Way - at First Christian Church

Located just two minutes west of San Marcos in a beautiful Hill Country setting, First Christian Church provides a spectacular sanctuary with seating for over 400 guests, a spacious fellowship hall and kitchen for rehearsal dinners and receptions, and staff experienced in the art of ensuring that your wedding is a success.

Choose a minister of your own to perform your ceremony, or contact our office to arrange an appointment to plan your wedding with our own Senior Minister, Jill Sullins.

Rev. Jill has officiated at hundreds of weddings, offers pre-marriage counseling, and helps each couple tailor their wedding ceremony so that it is a unique reflection of their love for one another.

Pre-Marriage Counseling

While not required, pre-marriage counseling is a smart thing to do. Even if you have been in a relationship for some time, counseling provides valuable insight, guidance, and peace of mind for the life-long commitment you are making.

Using a highly-regarded and time-proven instrument for evaluating the strengths as well as areas for growth in a relationship, the couple comes away with a solid understanding of one another and tools for enhancing trust and communication.

Weddings Away From the Church

Rev. Jill is available to perform your wedding ceremony at the location of your choosing, depending on her availability. Contact her for cost and travel details.

Reservations

To reserve First Christian Church for your wedding, contact our office at 512-396-1926, or .

Requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations will be held for seven days at which time any fees due must be paid.

Sanctuary	$500.00
Fellowship Hall (including kitchen)	$200.00
Wedding Coordinator	$90.00 up to 6 hours $10.00 each additional hr.
Sound Technician	$40.00 up to 4 hours $10.00 each additional hr.
Custodian	$75.00
Nursery Attendant	$10.00 per hour (one hour minimum)

Music

The staff organist or pianist of First Christian Church are experienced at performing weddings, or you may hire your own musicians. Contact our office to ensure the availability of our musical staff.

Visit Us!

We encourage couples considering First Christian Church to pay us a personal visit during our weekday office hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm. You are also always welcome to visit us in worship, Sundays at 8:30 and 10:30 AM. (Please check the website for worship schedule changes over the summer months.)
