FCC has been blessed with a wonderful, supportive staff of church employees and volunteers, without whom, our ministry would not be possible. Youth and Young Adult Minister
Jack was born in Houston, TX but grew up in Corpus Christi, TX as a member of First Christian Church. At age 16, he attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, a dual credit program at the University of North Texas. He received a BA in Ancient History and Classical Civilizations from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002, where he was a member of Texas Men’s Crew – the rowing team. After graduating, he took a job as Youth and Student Minister at University Christian Church, Austin, where he first realized his passion for Young Adult Ministry. He attended Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth and while there, served East Dallas Christian Church as Minister of Youth and Young Adults. He recently earned his Master of Divinity from Brite and was ordained at University Christian Church, Austin, TX. He is currently serving as Youth and Young Adult Minister at First Christian Church, San Marcos, TX.

Nicci was born and raised here in San Marcos, TX. She attended Texas State University for four years before moving to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. While living there, she completed her Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She has a son named Luke who is the joy of her life.

Mattie Howard Christian Education Director
Mattie has been a member of First Christian Church, San Marcos since 1991. She and her husband Mac were married in 1996 and have three precious sons.
After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Southwest Texas State University, Mattie taught Theatre at Seguin High School and later at San Marcos Baptist Academy. She also served as the Director of Recruitment for several years at SMBA. In addition to her school positions, she has served on several community boards, as a leader of Community Bible study, and has been active in her children's schools. For the past 8 years she has been a full time stay at home mom.
Mattie is thrilled to be working with the children of FCC!
